Aunt Bella was a wonderful, loving aunt who was very close to us despite the many miles apart. She sent beautiful mittens to our boys every Christmas, a quilt which I treasure and the 'Brides Bible', her wedding gift. Priceless though were her phone calls and conversations. She kept in touch with our mom Kay until the end and then stayed in touch with our dad. She was a devout Catholic who lived and practised her faith every day. We miss her. ❤️

Sending condolences to all the family especially her sisters who live in Ontario. Bella was a wonderful person and was very religious She never missed going to Mass even if she had to walk and it was a long walk from Sunny Corner to Red Bank. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
I'm sure Bella is in heaven with her parents and her siblings who have passed away.
Love you Bella. RIP

To Bella’s family,
Although small in stature, she was big in her Catholic faith. Bella was a very regular face at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Waterloo St. in Saint John.
She was a dear and life long friend to our Aunt Theresa.
Many a times my sister, Mary and I would accompany them to Tim Hortons all over the city. We would listen to their stories of their younger years working together at Emerson Fisher. But my fondest memories were of our trips back and forth to Sunny Corner in the Miramichi to transport Bella to her home there so she would be close to her remaining relatives especially her brother, Junior. She most certainly is now reunited with him in heaven. Bella please watch over us all now and you too will forever be remembered in our prayers as well. “ Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth”
Thoughts and prayers,
Lorraine & Gerard Leger

So sorry to hear that Bella passed away. I went up to the hospital twice to see her but could not get in because of Covid. I have know Bella for many years and liked her very much. Like Bella I was from the Miramichi and drove her several times up there with me when I was going. My family lives near where Bella grew up so the Allison family and the Burn's families go back a long way. My sincere condolences to Bella's family. Bella, I will pray for your soul as you have often prayed for me and the rest of our family. Rest in peace. Go with God.

Hello. As my sister has explained Bella was a friend of my mother, Agnes [Hunt] Marquis. I think that they met in the early 1950s if not earlier and they kept in touch over the years until quite recently. I met Bella at an event 2-3 years ago when I was there with my mother. And we have a photo from the wedding of our parents in 1956 with Bella in it-as well as her signature in the guest book. Please accept our condolences: Greg and Donna Marquis, Quispansis, NB.
