Obituary of Emma Valerie Poole-Morneau
Emma Valerie Poole-Morneau passed away peacefully at Bobby’s Hospice on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle. Emma was born on May 5, 1957 in Saint John, NB to Manasseh and Valerie Poole.
Emma worked at Tim Horton’s for 15 years throughout Saint John and surrounding areas. She loved to go for drives, walks on the beach and looking for lighthouses. Emma enjoyed spending time with her friends, and riding on the back of a motorcycle. Her most valued time was that spent with her granddaughter Payton, Emma treasured their time together more than anything.
Emma is survived by her mother Valerie, husband Paul Morneau, son William Sparks (Melissa), daughter Lisa Morneau, brother Jerry Poole (Pamela), sisters; Pauline Dunn, Shelia Coulton, and Brenda Melvin (Chris), special granddaughter Payton, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Manasseh.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Keeping with Emma’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held in Spring 2022. Interment will take place in St. Anne’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations in Emma’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
