Dear Brian, Kevin, Karin and families, I was so saddened to hear of Janice's passing. She was a dear sweet and Godly woman who taught me a lot in my faith journey over the years. I also had the privilege of working with her during VBS at Kingston Baptist over many summers. She was a loving and faithful woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Please know that I am praying for you all during this sad time. Martine Massey

I’m so very, very sorry to hear of Janice’s passing. Throughout the many years of knowing Janice, I was always impressed and encouraged by the kind, gentle and non judgemental way she lived her life. She was a true example of what Christian love should look like! I am saddened by your grief right now but so thankful that you have the comfort of knowing that she is no longer suffering and that you will see her again.
Praying that you will have peace for your hurting hearts and that your memories will comfort you in the coming days!❤️

Was so deeply saddened to hear of Janice's passing. She was a sweet lady who became a dear friend while we taught Junior Church together for so many years. Both being from N.S. also seemed to draw us together. As we taught she would often mention the song "They Will Know We Are Christians By Our Love" to the kids. Whenever that song comes to mind it will always cause me to remember her. You are all in my prayers at this time.

So sorry to hear that Janice has passed away. We were first year roommates at Acadia. Each week, Janice's mother, Dorothy, mailed wonderful care packages filled with homemade goodies. Janice was always happy to share these treats at our nightly tea sessions in the common room of our dorm. You could always depend on Janice being more than happy to stay up late to talk--a real night owl! I also have happy memories of sharing rides back and forth to BearRiver/Hillgrove with Janice, whether by train, with family members or friends. Janice was a whiz at math, a cheerful, optimistic person who was loyal to her friends and always willing to pitch in and help out. She will be fondly remembered. Sincere condolences to her husband Brian and the rest of her family.

My deepest sympathies to the Keirstead and Height families. I knew Janice all through school. In fact, we talked a few years back and we believed we were in the same class every year from kindergarten through to grade 12. I remember her in class - studious, quiet, helpful, and always ready with a smile. I also remember how she ate an 'Oh Henry' chocolate bar -- starting with the outside chocolate, and the peanuts and finally, when those were gone, the center caramel! Very special!
Brian - you took good care of her; Karin and Kevin - she was very proud of both of you.
Maxine, Patsy & Hazen - your family circle is broken for now. Cherish your memories, they will help you in the future.
Regards to all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers - Coleen

My deepest condolences to Janice's family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I fondly remember, as a child, spending many days and sleepovers with Janice, Patsy and Maxine. We were the closest of cousins. Even though we lost touch over the years, life got in the way, my memories of those wonderful times will always be with me. Brian, Hazen, Patsy, Maxine, Karin and Kevin, comfort each other, help each other through these very sad times and remember the precious memories that Janice left you. She is in a better place now, away from all the struggles and sickness.
