Obituary of Brian Ronald Baird
It is with broken hearts the family of Brian Ronald Baird wish to announce his passing on Sunday September 12, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Saint John in 1966, Brian was the only son of the late Ronald G. and Ethel Marie (Bailey) Baird.
Brian was a carpenter by trade and had worked with Clovis Casey in Lorneville for a number of years. He was an avid comic book collector and reader, a Montreal Canadians fan, a fisherman, and outdoorsman. Brian was quiet low key man who was happy and content to just spend time with his family and friends.
Brian is survived by his wife, Janice (Silliphant) Baird, his only son, Justin (Tasha Perry) Baird, of Sussex, N.B., three grandchildren, Amelia, Brody and Star, and grandbaby # 4 , Serena on the way in December 2021, as well as many cousins
Brian was predeceased by his parents Ronald (1994), Ethel (1996), and his sister, Brenda Baird ( 2014).
Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. A celebration of Brian’s life will be at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel, Friday September 17, 2021 at 1:30pm. Interment will take place in Lorneville “Seaview” Cemetery.
