Obituary of John Wesley White
It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Wesley White announce his passing on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family by his side. John was born on March 19, 1945, in Saint John, NB to the late Stanley and Norma (Albert) White.
John is survived by his wife Sandra (Garnett) White of 57 years, daughters; Kimberly (Ken) Hayes and Carolynn White, brother Steve White (Anne), sisters; Donna Robichaud and Shawn White, grandchildren; Megan Arsenault, Caitlyn Hayes, and Noah Brown, great grandchildren; Silas and Caleb Arseneault, and several nieces and nephews.
John worked for 27 years at Chandler Sales in the warehouse, where he retired from in 2006. John loved to golf, ATV, and to go fishing in the Miramichi. John also enjoyed travelling; especially family trips to Ontario to see Bobby and Walter, and Gordon and Joann Henwood (Sandra’s sisters) and to Florida with his wife Sandra.
John will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He was so kind, generous, hardworking, and a funny character. He truly touched the lives of those around him and he will never be forgotten. John was always there to lend a hand to a neighbor or anyone in need, putting their needs above his own.
Resting at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation take place on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM- 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Matthew’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date.
