Obituary of Scott Matthew Guthrie

It is with broken hearts the family of Scott M. Guthrie wish to announce his passing by tragic accident on Wednesday August 11, 2021. Born in Saint John, in 1985, Scott was a son of Michael R. Guthrie and Linda Fox, and beloved husband of Viktoriya (Bekker) Guthrie.

He enjoyed karaoke, fishing, playing guitar, singing and spending time with family and friends as well as feeding squirrels.

Scott is survived by his wife, Viktoriya, father, Michael (Karen) Guthrie, of Mill Cove, N.B., his mother, Linda Fox of Grand Bay-Westfield, brother, Michael Mowbray of Barrie, Ontario, sisters; Barbara (Brian) Braydon of Grand Bay-Westfield, Suzanne (Jim) Graham of Grand Bay-Westfield, Maria Letson of Saint John, nieces; Jessica Graham, Madeline Graham, Robyn Letson, Brooklyn Letson, Shawna Phinney, Julia McMenanamon, Shayelin Braydon, nephews; Matthew Mowbray and Mason Mowbray.

Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634-1701). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
