Dear Mike and Becky, I'm heartbroken to hear about Calvin's passing. Cal and I went to high school together, and he was one of the best people I could've ever met. In senior year, we had classes together, and Cal never failed to brighten up a room with his energy. He was especially amazing to the grade 9 students we helped tutor in English that he would've been a great teacher. I sadly don't have many photos of us together, but I'll always cherish this one from our high school band trip to Toronto. Rest high with the angels, Calvin. I'll miss you. <3

I did not know Calvin very well but I remember he brought his pet rat into school with him and let me hold the rat on my shoulder. It was a positive memory for me. He was so sweet and I’m so thankful to have had an interaction with him. I wish the genuine best for his family and everyone else who knew him and are currently grieving his loss. ❤️

I didn’t know Calvin incredibly well, but when I was in the ninth grade several years ago he agreed to act in the SCENE I was directing at HVHS. He was such a nice guy and it breaks my heart that the world has lost him so early. I wish the best to the family ❤️.
