Dear Jane and family,
Sorry that I am posting this so late and I hope you get this message. You have been in my thoughts. I met your mother at Kennebec where my own mother is a resident. Faith was a wonderful lady and I looked forward to seeing her when I visited. My mother did sewing and quilting and Faith encouraged her to attend the quilting group where Faith organized the projects and kept me up to date on my mother's progress. Faith was a wonderful ambassador for Kennebec Manor, always pleasant, cheerful and knowledgeable about events. I miss her presence there and her smiling face. We are so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. She will be in your hearts forever.

To all of Faith’s wonderful children:
I am truly saddened with the loss of your beautiful mother, who held a special place in my heart for all the effort, care, and kindness she gave to my mom, June Lavin, during their time together at Kennebec Manor and for the friendship they shared for many years prior. She was respected and loved by so many.
Faith’s life was lived to the fullest. A successful and noted career, a happy marriage, a wonderful, adoring family, and a loving home were, obviously, just some of the great things that she accomplished. Her legacy will certainly live on.

Helen, Jane, Nancy and Amy,
When I think of your mom, I just see a big smile. She was such an incredibly friendly, optimistic, empathetic, kind woman and so much fun to be around. Her youthfulness bridged generations — from my grandmother to me — effortlessly and she spread sunshine wherever she went.
I'm sure you'll miss her terribly. Sending love and condolences and lots of dear memories of Douglas Lake.

Dear Helen, Jane, Nancy and Amy.
I am so sad to hear about Faith's passing. She was a wonderful friend for the last over 50 years. I remember especially when you were 2,4, 6 and 8 dressed in matching dresses that Faith made, coming to Douglas Lake.
Every day Mom and Faith would watch all the kids on the wharf and swimming and they would always have a swim too. In the evening we would play bridge.
Just tons of wonderful, warm memories. After mom died, Faith and I would still get together at Douglas Lake, have a swim, share a meal and sometimes she would stay over.
I missed seeing her last summer with Covid raising it's head. I was so impressed at how she embraced Kennebec and set up sewing and gardening while there. I will never forget Faith or any of you. She was like part of the family. Please come and visit at the lake.
Love to you all at this very difficult time.

To Helen, Jane, Nancy and Amy,
I was terribly saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Faith was a wonderful woman and a loving friend to my mother. They were friends for many years and when my mother moved into Kennebec Manor Faith took her under her wing; this was such a comfort to her to have someone familiar and to us as Faith was always looking out for mom. I enjoyed chatting with Faith during my visits to Kennebec and admiring her latest handiwork. She was extremely talented quilter. She will be dearly missed by many ; hoping you and your families find comfort in all of your fond and loving memories.

To the Girls, and to all who will miss Faith, The loss was inevitable but the timing is always too soon. I will so miss my mentor, confidante, my friend and my visits with Faith. She was so courageous and inspirational in her living everyday with as much optimism she could muster. Her sewing enthusiasm was infectious as her ladies' sewing group will attest and I for one benefitted from her wealth of knowledge and encouragement. We laughed at ourselves and each other generously . We shared our faith and love So It is with tears I say Goodbye to my friend. Hugs from the Sunday night gal.

I have so many wonderful memories of your mama. When my dad first went into Kennebec Manor Faith was right there introducing herself to my mom dad and I. Mom would go to visit dad just about every day and where would be but talking to my dad in the hallway. She was so happy to always try to make my dad feel welcome. After my mom passed away and I would go in to see dad, Faith came to me with her arms open for a hug to give to me. She always gave me such great sewing advice. I will miss faith. After my dad passed away in February I have wanted to go to the Manor to see Faith and thank you for always helping dad and being so loving and kind to him. But I just could not go there. So again I'm sorry to you and your family. Faith was such a wonderful person ❤️
