Obituary of Marguerite Shirley Blizzard

It is with heavy hearts the family of Marguerite Shirley (Beattie) Blizzard announce her passing on August 28th, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Elwood and Myrna (Bullard) Beattie, born on August 10, 1936 in Doaktown NB. Marguerite had a love for curling, pets (particularly dogs), playing cards, bowling and dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Berton “Bert” Blizzard, children; Douglas (Rita), Tony, Shirley, Wanda (Clarence) and Theresa, brother Norman, sisters; Dorothy, Ruth (Frank), Sandra (Mike) and Alberta, 4 grandchildren; Tammy, Daniel Jenny and Emily, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents, brother Raymond and sister Alva. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Castle Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00PM. Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
