There is an emptiness in my heart. Life will never be the same without you, Mom. You have taught us a lot - how to be strong, wit, courage, common sense, optimism, love, kindness, respect and more but nothing could have prepared us for how to live without you. That is something we will struggle with as you were our “go to” person for everything. I miss you more than words can express. I love you. Gracie and Jaimason miss you so much.

To Fran's daughters, parents and siblings, I wish to offer my sincere sympathies to you all during this very difficult time. I had the absolute privilege to work with Fran at Harbor View during the last few years. Fran was a kind and caring person to all. Everyone respected and admired her courage and stamina during her recent health crisis. She will definitely leave a void here at Harbor View.

Tiffany, Courtney, Brittany, Tristen and Brooke, no one can say the right words to take away your sadness but take solace knowing you had an incredible mother that loved you beyond all else and will guide you through your lives. Fran was an amazing friend and coworker. She was the perfect model of what strength, courage and grace is. She embodied kindness and love. An absolute gem. I feel honoured to call her my friend. ❤️

Fran was my best friend for 30 years. We shared so many triumphs, losses, growing pains, births, and simple joys over our years together. She was one of my biggest champions, always cheering me on when life required that I change my path. We spent a lot of time listening to each other and helping each other grow. I am so proud of the woman she was - she touch so many lives. She was a wonderful mother, a supportive daughter, a loving sister/aunt, and a treasured friend. Fran and I spent some time in her last weeks talking about our lives and the shared experiences; thankful that we had had each other for all of it. We talked about what made our bond so special and the acceptance we had for each other - for the good, the bad, and the quirky. I am grateful for that time. A treasured memory to add to my pile. Fran was one of the strongest women, I knew. She faced adversity and challenges with dignity and grace and passed on that strength to her daughters. She loved fiercely and when she loved you, you felt the intensity of that love. She was a role-model for her students, demonstrating perseverance and unlimited strength. They we lucky to have her. We all were. Love you, Fran.

I knew Fran only through my work at the Saint John court house. Although she was there for only a short time, she left a lasting impression on many in the building. Her big smile and contagious positivity brightened the days in a place where negativity could be infectious. My sincere condolences to her family and friends for the loss of this truly bright light of a person.

Fran's Girls and Family, It was such a privilege working with Fran, too see how she touched the lives of so many people and not just the students she worked with. We had a special bond that will be carried on through our little group The Backyard ******* . We will always love her and never forget her or your family. Take pride in knowing how much she loved you and would always talk about what everyone was doing. She would proudly show us Brooke's drawings and talk about the grandkids. Rest in Peace. To Fran's girls, family and dear friends: you have lost a woman of great impact, and your sorrow must be so painful. Fran meant the world to "her kids" at school and to her colleagues. She taught us lessons about courage in the face of great challenge, about rising up in spirit when we are troubled, and about facing life with humour, grace and humanity. My sincerest condolences to you - she will be very much missed by so many. Holding you up in prayer and light.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ms.Moss had a very special place in my daughter’s heart. They met at Harbourview where Rebekah was a student. She went in to help with a baking fundraiser last year for Ms.Moss. Sadly Rebekah passed away in August and Ms.Moss came to pay her respects. It meant a lot to me to see her given her own battle, but I know Rebekah was smiling at her presence. May your angel Rest In Peace with my angel.
