Obituary of Mary Rachell Bourgoin
It is with broken hearts that the family of Mary Rachell Bourgoin wish to announce her passing on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 30, 1956 to the late J.Albert and Lillian L. (Flynn) Bourgoin. Rachell was a lifelong Westsider and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish. Rachell loved people and was the long time manager at W.H. Hayward which was a job she loved and then worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart on the west side. Rachell was an avid knitter and donated mittens and hats to everyone in her community that she could. She is survived by her son, Andrew (Kyla) Letson, and daughter Jennifer Letson (Stephen Kearney), both of Saint John, two sisters, Denise (Mark) Green, and Jeannine (Gary) Webb, both of Saint John, grandson Zachary Atwell, and granddaughter Jordan Kearney and nieces and nephews, Michael Green, Bryan Green, Patty Martin, Cherise Letson, Liam and Paige Boudreau,and two great nephews, Jeffrey Green and Nick Martin. Rachell was pre deceased by her parents J.Albert and Lillian L. Bourgoin, two brothers, Glendon Trebble and Clinton Bourgoin. Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, (634-1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Rachell’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A reception will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at the Assumption Center. Donations to MADD Saint John Area Chapter or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
