Obituary of Frederick Curtis Cormier

Frederick “Fred” Curtis Cormier passed away peacefully at the Carleton Kirk Lodge on November 9, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB on August 29, 1952, he was the son of the late William and Leila (Clark) Cormier. Frederick worked at the Drydock for years, as well as a security guard. He loved fishing, hunting, art, drawing and painting. His one and only son, Fred Malcom Cormier, whom he loved so much was his life. Frederick was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly. Frederick is survived by son; Fred Malcolm Cormier, brothers Norman Cormier, Gary (Lisa) Cormier, sisters; Sandra Adams, Linda Cormier (Billy Dennis), Judy (Pat Wills) Cormier and granddaughter Karleigh Grace. Along with his parents, he is pre-deceased by brothers; George Cormier, infant Richard Bruce Cormier, sister; Deborah Fillis; and wife, Grace (Melvin) Cormier, brother in laws; Leo Fillis and Norman Adams. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB, E2M2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held, Thursday November 15, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Castle Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM from Castle Fallsview Chapel. Burial will take place after the service at Ocean View Memorial Garden Cemetery.
