Obituary of Douglas Alexander Cornfield

Douglas ‘Dougie’ Alexander Cornfield passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, October, 19, 2017. Born December 7th, 1945 in Saint John, NB, ‘Dougie’ was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Clark) Cornfield. Dougie is survived by his wife Margo Elaine (Carleton) Cornfield and daughter Kim; four brothers; two sisters; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dougie was pre-deceased by his parents and sister, Barbara Cornfield. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701), visitation will be held on Monday October 23, 2017 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean view Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family welcome donations in Dougie’s memory to Key Industries or Saint John Regional Palliative Care Unit.
