Obituary of Christopher John Warman

It is with sad and broken hearts that the family of Chris announce his passing on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the age of 49. Chris was a kind and beautiful soul who was taken way too early, surrounded by a loving family at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on September 5, 1970, he was the son of Deanna Warman and the late Reed Warman (Pam). Chris leaves behind to mourn his mother Deanna, his loving and supportive fiancé Jeanie Lynch, his two cherished sons Shane and Brandon and their mother Shelley Paul. Maternal grandmother Cyretha Dixon, sister Shelley (Dave), brother Mike (Corrie), nephews; Justin, Mikey and Kyle, niece Julie, and many aunts and uncles. He is also survived by Jeanie’s children; PJ (Christina), Vanessa (Corey) and their children, extended family and a large circle of friends including best friend Jamie Craig who never missed a day with Chris at Bobby’s Hospice and Tom Wilson who thought the world of Chris and his special fur babies Princess and Chuckie. He is predeceased by his father Reed Warman (Pam), paternal grandparents Ernest and Marie Warman, and maternal grandfather Ronald Dixon. He was a proud, born and raised Westsider where he owned and operated his business Exceptional Finish, until his illness would not allow him to continue. When he was not hard at work, Chris could be found enjoying a beer in his assigned favourite corner chair at Shooters or having a tea at Tim’s with his many friends and acquaintances; who were always checking in and offering to help. In his younger years, Chris’s favorite band was AC/DC, but as years passed and he mellowed his musical taste geared towards country. Chris was well liked and respected by all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and watching his beloved Boston Bruins and Nascar. He especially enjoyed watching his favourite driver Dale Earnhardt and spending time at Speedway 660. The family would like to forever thank Shooters for their overwhelming help, support, fundraising, donations and time throughout Chris’s journey. They would also like to thank the Fish and Brew for their continued donations, prayers and support during Chris’s illness. Many thanks to Chris’s oncologist Dr. Brunell, radiologist Dr. Naz, all medical and Pallative Care staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and to Bobby’s Hospice for their exceptional care and love shown to Chris. You were all Chris’s angels – God Bless. Chris was a true believer that his use of cannabis “God’s good oil” was absolutely beneficial to him throughout his journey. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9th from 1:00PM – 4:00PM with a Memorial Service to follow in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 4:00 PM. Following the Service the family would like to invite you to Shooter’s, 638 Manawagonish Rd, Saint John, NB E2M 3W5 to celebrate memories and funny stories of this wonderful and special man. Private Family Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Chris’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice. Chris sends this special and eternal message to all the bartenders and staff who served him over the years at Shooter’s; “God Bless you all, it wasn’t an easy task.”
