Obituary of Amy Louise Flemming
It is with great sadness that the Family of Amy Louise Flemming announces her sudden passing on March 4, 2020, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Amy was born on October 10, 1952, in Saint John, NB to the late J. Archie and Jean (Crawford) Flemming. Amy worked at NB Tel for many years before unfortunately going on Long Term Disability. The Family would like to recognize and thank all those at NB Tel/Bell-Aliant for their many years of support. The Family would also like to express their gratitude and thanks to all the residents and caregivers at CentraCare. She loved her extended Family. Amy is survived by her son Shawn Giles (Lauren Pitcher), brothers; Jim Flemming (Mollie), Bruce Flemming (Trish) and Bill Flemming (Karen) and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and sister Janet Ellen Flemming. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 6:00 PM in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amy’s memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
