Obituary of Georgette Marie Holden

It is with heavy hearts the family of Georgette Holden announce her passing on Wednesday, September 12 at home in Welsford NB. Born in Tracadie, NB 61 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Irenée (Lange) Albert and Anita (Frigault) Albert. Georgette is survived by her husband Eric, her son Joshua (Katie) of Nerepis, granddaughters Emily and Kaila, grandson Benjamin and great grandson Ryder, as well as two large families. In earlier years she worked at Fern’s Diner and Red Rose Tea Plant. She was owner of Georgette’s Diner for 27 years. Georgette was an icon of the Welsford Village and was always a helping hand and loving heart to anyone in need. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16th from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM in Castle Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 17th at 10AM in Castle Fallsview Chapel. Interment will follow in Welsford Valley Cemetery, with a reception afterwards in the Welsford Fire Hall.
