Obituary of Norma June Ells
Norma June Ells (Stewart) was reunited with her husband Douglas Lorne Ells on March, 24 2020. Douglas and June had been married for over 66 years. June was born in Montreal, Quebec to the late Doris Stewart on June 7, 1933. June and Doug Retired to Musquash. They moved often because of Dougs work in the oil Refineries , most of their married life was spent in Montreal, but they also lived in Airdrie Alberta, and Come By Chance Newfoundland and Labrador. June was very happy and content with her life, she always tried to make the best of every situation. Her main priorities in life were always her husband and children, they meant the most to her, she was a very dedicated mother. In her earlier years June was a very active volunteer in Montreal, she also taught Sunday school for several years. June enjoyed crafting, especially knitting and embroidery, she made items for her whole family and sold her crafts at the Mariners Inn Craft shop in Chance Harbor. June also enjoyed going for drives, and going to Tim Hortons, most of the people who worked at her favorite Tim Hortons knew her by name. June is survived by her children; Clifford(Rosaline) Ells, Lynn Ells, Brian Ells, Lorne Ells and Madeline (Walter) Ramka, grandchildren; Ryan (Cara) and Brittany, and several nieces and nephews. June is predeceased by her mother Doris, husband Douglas, sister Gloria, brother George and grand-dog Rusty. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3, 506-634-1701. Keeping with June’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private family Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in June’s memory can be made to the SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice.
