Obituary of Vincent Chester Rice

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Vincent Chester Rice announce his sudden passing on March, 23, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Vincent was born on July 9, 1947 in Cape Breton, N.S to the late Reginald Melvin and Madeline Elizabeth (Heno) Rice. Vincent spent most of his career working in construction throughout Saint John. In his spare time he loved to spend time with his friends outside and have his Tim Horton’s coffee at Landsdown. Vincent was also a hockey fan, the Montreal Canadiens were his favourite team. Vincent is survived by his wife Gwendolyn (Windle) Rice, children; Vincent Rice of Ontario, Lori Ann Rice of St. Catharines, Ont, Lisa Rice (Ken Fox) of St. Catharines, Ont, Melissa Rice (Sean Kelter) of Saint John, NB, Bobby Jo Rice of Fredericton, NB, and Joan Rice (Tyrone Locke) of Niagara Falls, Ont, brothers; Ronald Rice of Sydney, N.S, Reginald Rice of P.E.I, James Rice of Alberta, George Rice of Ontario, Douglas Rice of P.E.I and Steven Rice of B.C, sisters; Joan Yvonne Rice of N.S, Margaret Patricia Rice of N.S and Madeline Louise Rice of N.S, 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Vincent is predeceased by his parents Reginald and Madeline, and son Elvis Rice.
