Obituary of James Michael Kennedy
It is with great sadness that the family of James Michael Kennedy announce his unexpected passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Michael was born on September 27, 1960 to the late James and Leona (Boucher) Kennedy in Saint John, NB. Michael spent most of his working career as a chef working at several restaurants in Uptown Saint John and surrounding areas. He also enjoyed hunting with his father. Michael was a true Westsider. Michael will be missed by all who knew him including his children; Michael Jr. Kennedy, Jimmy Bonnell, Robbie Thomas (Beth), Kalena Kennedy and Tammy Bonnell, sisters; Cheryl Lynn Jennings (Albin Cheverie) and Michelle Morrison (Paul), four grandchildren; James Wyatt, Aiden, Johnny and Paige, nephew Jeff Land (Stephanie), his dear friends; Jeff and Krista Frost, Kevin Crandlemer, little Anna and the rest of the boys that visited ‘the bar’, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his parents James and Leona and his very special furry best friend “Bud”. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Memorial Service will follow immediately in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations in Michael’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
