Obituary of Jean Paul Ferron

Jean Paul Ferron Jr. was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, September 20th, at the Parkland Riverview while surrounded by family. He was born on September 19, 1945 to the late Jean Paul Sr. and Albertine Doucet. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Linda (Taillefer) Ferron, sons Gilles (Danielle) and Gaspard (Natasha), daughters; Melissa (Jonathan) Melinda and Mandy (Jeff), brothers Gilbert (Suzanne), Sàraphin (Babianne), Armand (Diane), sister Rosemonde (Michel), 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who he cherished. In addition to his parents, Jean Paul was predeceased by his sons; Bruno and Stephan, sister Jeanne Paule and brother Joe. Jean Paul was a Boiler Maker for most of his life. A member of Local 73. He enjoyed crib and playing his beloved guitar with a glass of red wine. Fishing was his favorite pastime and in his younger years hunting with his best friend Laurent and having a Budweiser. But by far his greatest love was his family and grandchildren. The family would like to thank Parkland Riverview staff, nurses, and doctors for all their care and compassion given to Jean Paul during his time there. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Thursday September 24, 2020 , at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
