Obituary of Kevin Melvin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Melvin, son of Walter and Mary Melvin on Sunday, June 18th at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on Oct 4th, 1958 in Saint John NB. He was a dedicated employee of Brothers Beauty Supply for nearly 15 years. Kevin enjoyed a good game of cards on Friday nights with family and friends. He also loved to tell his jokes and good stories. In addition to his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie (Sarty), Kevin is survived by his mother Mary, two children; Kevin (Denise) of Lake Echo, NS, Ashley (Tyrone) of Halifax, NS; five grandchildren; Brienne, Caleb, Karter, Jarell and Parker. Brothers; Kim, Robbie (Lisa), Randy (Tanya), Darren, Sisters; Heather (Paul), Debbie (Willie), Jennifer (Brian) and several nieces and nephews and his best friend Vaughn. He was predeceased by his father Walter and brother Scott. A special thank you to Caroline, Miranda, Dr. Chase and all the nurses and doctors of 4C North. Arrangements are under the care Castle funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Castle Funeral Home Chapel.
