Obituary of Darlene Constance Campbell
It is with great sadness the family of Darlene C. Campbell of Saint John West announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 6, 2017. Born on April 17, 1958 in Saint John. She was the daughter of the late Willard B. Campbell and Constance (Richards) Campbell of Saint John West. Over the years Darlene was employed at the Westside K’Mart. Fabricville and Harvey’s. She had a varied interest in arts and crafts, coloring, knitting and a passion for horses. Her daily excursions to the Lancaster mall included visits with friends at the Library and Dollar Store. She loved to tell knock knock jokes; ask her why she told so many her reply was just want to make people happy. An angelic smile and laugh always put a smile on your face. Darlene was also very involved in her Church and Bible Study at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Darlene is survived by her sister Crystal Lee (Peter Dowd) of Upham, nephews James Allen Beal and Edward (Casey) Sears of Hampton and her cat Mandy. Predeceased by her brother Allen Campbell (Judy Beal) of Saint John. Her extended family included Debbie Richard, Patricia McLaughlin, Theresa Rogers and special friend Abby who she loved so very much. Special thanks to Dr. Alana Cook for all her compassion and extended medical support. May she rest in peace for a life well lived. We love you Darlene. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 9th 7:00PM – 9:00PM.
