Obituary of Dianne Marlene Magee
DIANNE MARLENE MAGEE – (March 17, 1952 – September 3, 2018) – died peacefully at her residence in Saint John at the age of 66 of heart failure. Dianne was born in Moncton, NB. Raised in Milford, she was the adopted/chosen daughter of the late Hillis and Pauline (Walsh) Magee. In her early years, she worked in the offices of SMT transport and for the Red Cross. She was involved in church activities and enjoyed her weekly Bible study group. Dianne was a very loving, caring person, sister, friend and mother who would always give to others in need, even if it meant she went without. She is survived by her son Jason, Saint John; her siblings Marcia (Bill) - Ottawa, ON, Wendy (Paul) - Saint John, Dan - Bocabec and Mark (Jean) - Quispamsis. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be dearly missed by long-time friends, Ann, Pat, Faye, Gail, Joan, Susan and Steven. To respect Dianne’s wishes, she has been cremated and a private graveside service will be held with interment of ashes in the family plot at Good Shepherd Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Dianne’s memory, can give to a local homeless shelter, food bank or to a charity of one’s choice. All arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home. “Gone home to be with her Lord.”
