Our memory of Lawrence was his laugh. His love of family and the history of the family house on the ridge also come to mind. Sorry for your loss.

Dan and families. Sincerest sympathies on your loss. Here is a poem we would like to share with you at this time You are standing upon a shore. A ship before you spreads his white sails and starts for the ocean. He is a beautiful and strong ship and you watch him until he hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at your side says, "There well, he's gone". But gone where? From your sight, that's all. He is just as large in mast as when he left your shore, just as strong and able. His diminished size is in you, not in him and while someone at your side is saying, " He's gone", there are other eyes watching him coming and ready to take up the glad shout, "There he comes!"
