Obituary of Travilla Dickhout

It is with heavy hearts the family of Travilla “Trevor” Dickhout announce his sudden passing at home on October 4th 2018. He was born on May 31, 1943 in Dunnville, Ontario to the late Harry Merton and Gladys Pearl (Winter) Dickhout. He spent most of his career years working in Dunnville Ontario as a weaver for Wabasso, and lastly at Tops Pizza in Saint John, NB as a dishwasher. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, bingo, reading, playing games and watching TV- especially wrestling and old movies. Travilla will be dearly missed by his son Dwayne Blackburn, daughters; Karen Rumson (Jim) and Cynthia Campeau (Derek Csongar), step-sons; Tony Stratton (Cindy), Jim Stratton, Keith Stratton (Jess), Ed Stratton, step-daughters; Kathy Stratton-Mckee (Steve) and Patti Stratton, sisters; Hilda Echlin (late Elmer) and Roberta House (late William), sisters in-law; Loretta(late Graham) and Heather (late Lawrence), grandchildren; Jeremy and Brandon Campeau, Kora Phalen and many other step grandchildren, ex-wife Gloria Tobin, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his infant daughter Heather, parents, wife Clara Dickhout (Stratton), brothers; Graham and Lawrence, sister Pearl and her husband Orlin Rittenhouse, and brothers in-law; Elmer Echlin and William House.
