Obituary of Marilyn Constance Anderson

It is with sadness that the family of Marilyn Constance (O’Donaghue) Anderson announce her passing on July 14th, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Marilyn was born on May 13th, 1933 to the late Kenneth and Sadie Mae (MacLeod) O’Donaghue in Saint John, NB. Marilyn started her career as a Registered Nurse, and eventually began working at Weight Watchers as a Supervisor and Counsellor where she spent 27 years. When she wasn’t working she spent her time walking her beloved Terrier Dogs, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, figure skating, curling and she was also an avid gardener. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Terry Anderson (Duane) of Saint John, and cousins Karen and Brian Broughton of Moncton, NB. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, husband Roy E. Anderson, brother Brian O’Donaghue and aunt Frances MacLeod. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3 506-634-1701. As per Marilyn’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private family interment will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
