Obituary of Bernadette Marie Savoie
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bernadette Marie (Robichaud) Savoie announce her passing on July 26th, 2019 at Parkland Shannex surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 30th, 1937 to the late Antoine and Josephine Robichaud in Lagaceville, NB. Bernadette loved her grandkids more than anything, they were her world. When she wasn’t spending time with them she enjoyed listening to her “fiddle” music and tapping her toes, playing bingo, doing puzzles and coloring. She also had a great affection for cats (Nacho in particular) and collecting antiques. Bernadette will be dearly missed by her partner Robert Reid; children Gerard (Christine), Cherielyn and Lisa Savoie; sisters; Linda, Lausa, Delcia, Geraldine and Lydia Robichaud; brother Ola Robichaud; grandchildren; Chantelle, Blair, Brandon and Riley, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Adrian Savoie; and brothers Eustache, Joe, Elvery, Emile, Roger and Leo Robichaud. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 29th 2019 at 11:00AM in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel. A reception will follow the service at Castle "Fallsview" Reception Centre. Donations in memory of Bernadette can be made to the SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
