Obituary of David William Thomas Sargeant
David William Thomas Sargeant passed away unexpectantly in a motor vehicle accident in Pocologan on August 16, 2018. David is survived by his wife, Lisa (Hebert), son Matthew of Fredericton, NB, step-daughter Lisa (Gerald) Smith of Grand Bay NB, and step-son, Jordan Hebert of St. Stephen, NB. Parents Harold and Alice (Flowers) Sargeant of Grand Bay, NB. Sister Nancy Sargeant of Grand Bay and Sister-in-law, Lori Johnson of St. Stephen, NB. Two grandchildren, Robbie and James Smith. Aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Christina Sargeant. David touched the lives of so many with his outgoing personality and huge smile. He loved to hunt and fish. David also leaves behind his faithful dog, Shadow. David and Lisa enjoyed spending their summers at Pleasant Lake Campground in Alexander, Maine along with their many dear friends. Visitation will take place at S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm followed by visitation at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB, Monday, August 20, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm with Funeral Service at 3pm from the Fallsview Chapel. A reception will follow at Grand Bay-Westfield Legion Branch No. 22, 27 Woolastook Drive. Internment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
