Obituary of Jane Sullivan-Hall
It is with sadness that the family of Jane Sullivan-Hall announce her passing, which occurred at her home in Saints Rest on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the age of 90. Jane was born July 4, 1927 in London England, she was a daughter of the late William Sullivan & Jane (Flanagan) Sullivan.Jane’s early years were spent in East Ham, London, England. On December 3, 1953 at the age of 26, for the second time she crossed the ocean to live in Lancaster, N.B. Jane proudly became a Canadian citizen on October 20, 2009. Jane was a talented seamstress holding a membership in the National Union of Tailors &Garment Workers in England, Joining the workforce during wartime in 1942 at the age of 15. In Canada, while raising her sons she worked at K-Mart. Jane was a hardworking, single mother, always there for her boys. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Branch 69 Legion. Jane is survived by her 3 sons, Quinton, Cornelius – Connie (Sally) & Neil ( Cindy) all of Musquash, N.B. She leaves behind 4 loving Grandchildren, Erin (Miguel), Matthew (Erica), Elisha (Jamie), & Victoria (TJ). Great grandchildren,Easton, Aylee, Olivia & “one on the way”. Jane is survived by 2 brothers, Father John Sullivan & Gerry (late Peggy) Sullivan both of England & a special niece Geraldine Sullivan Piper, also of London, England. She was predeceased by her parents & brothers William, Cornelius, Jimmy & sister Mary, nephews Gary, Alan & John Sullivan There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place & and a private family graveside burial will take place at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, Saint John, N.B.(634 1701). Donations if desired can be made to the charity of choice. Untill we meet again…….we love you Mom/Nannie
