Obituary of Paul Wayne McGrath
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paul W. McGrath on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge. Born in Prince William, N.B. on February 28, 1942. Paul was a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Embleton) McGrath. Paul and his stories will be missed by his hunting buddies. Paul enjoyed a long career with N.B. liquor corp. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Celeste (Gallant) McGrath, his three daughters, Carolyn McGrath- Lockyer (Richard); their children, Bridget and Evelyn, Elizabeth Anne McGrath, and Jennifer Lynn Moore (Peter); and their children, Melissa Jane, Andrew, Thomas, and John, two brothers, Robert (Judy) McGrath, and David (the late Patricia) McGrath, sister- in law, Dianne (the late James) Hanlon, and many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends. Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday January 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 12 noon. DUE TO COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS- ONLY 25 PEOPLE PERMITTED AT ONE TIME. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Interment will take place in the Spring of 2021 at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
