Obituary of Brian Reid

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Reid on July 21, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Born in Saint John, NB on March 15, 1952. He was the son of the late Glendon and Elsie (Armstrong) Reid. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jeannine of 30 years and children; Lisa (Jeff) and Natalie (Jeff). He was a proud papa to; Lauren, Ryan, and Jenna. He is also survived by his brothers; Kevin (Phyllis), David, sister; Lana Kiervin, aunts and uncles; Louisa & Ed Patterson and Loretta McFarlane. He was pre-deceased by his parents, and brothers; Peter and Gary. Brian was employed for 34 years as an operator at the Irving Pulp & Paper Mill. He was a member of the Saint John Power Boat Club for 40 years. His passion was boating on the Saint John River with his family and friends on the Seahound. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3 506-634-1701. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
