It has been difficult getting around to writing this as it's so hard to say goodbye. When I think of Dad I think of how he was instrumental into helping me become who I am today. I miss his good humor, gentle nature, patience and loving spirit. So many things trigger memories of you Dad. You are always in my thoughts, in my heart and will never be forgotten. Thank you for the many wonderful years. Love you and miss you Dad.

I grew up on Lansdowne St second house from the Pelletiers. They were wonderful people and Alfred a childhood friend. We built snow tunnels in their yard and I remember the family going to the movies at the Paramount. When I think of Alfred, gentleness and trusting comes to my mind. RIP gentle soul. Condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I volunteered at Shannex and served meals to Fred and other residents. Fred was always pleasant and appreciative of any assistance given to him. He loved music and puzzles and could often be heard playing his music throughout the hallways. Sincere condolences to the family. RIP Fred.

From when I was a young girl, the Pelletiers included me and made me part of their family. Alfred has always been a kind gentle soul. With a huge smile. I will always remember how much he loved his country music. I know who Rita McNeil is because of Alfred. He was always busy doing mechanics and cracking jokes with his buddy Gordon. I remember they had a strong friendship. Alfred was also a great salesman’s from what I remember. He gave Nancy and I plenty of drives to the beach, McDonald’s or Studio 14-18, Campbellton it Point-a-la-Croix. He was a second dad to me. Alfred you are leaving a huge void in your family’s lives and to the people around you. Your family can say with proud you’re a man who’s loved by many. RIP Alfred and my condolences to the family. So hard knowing we will not see your face anymore. That smile that light up any time he would see a loved one. I learned to play crib just a couple of years ago to spend more time with you while visiting at Shannex. Still to this day I needed your help counting those darn points lol. You have given us so many memories growing up that I will cherish forever. I did not say this nearly enough.... Dad I love you... Forever and always. Rest easy xoxo
