Obituary of Ronald Harold Prosser

It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Harold Prosser wish to announce his passing on Sunday September 2, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Sussex, N.B. to the late Alice (Hunter) Prosser, and beloved husband of Shirley (Porter) Prosser. Ronald was an Electrician by trade and had worked for various companies around the city where he was sought after to teach the younger apprentices. He was a member of the I.B.E.W local #502 for over 35 years. He also worked for the Commissioners Corp. for over 20 years. He was a veteran, and was a life member, and Past President of the R.C.L Branch #2. Ronald was an avid sport fisherman who loved to go on fishing trips with his buddies to fish the lakes of Quebec, but his favorite past time was spending his time with his many family and friends who were of the utmost importance to him. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Shirley(Porter) Prosser, his son Kevin (Debbie) Prosser, of Abbotsford, B.C., Mark (Darlene) Prosser, of Hamilton, Ontario, and Kimberley (Gordon) Spinney, of Saint John, N.B., seven grandchildren, Three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his Mother, Alice, brother, John Prosser, sister, Patricia Prosser, and his infant daughter Cindy. Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 7, 2018 at 10:00am from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Manawagonish Rd. Saint John, N.B.. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
