Obituary of Andrew Lloyd Lang
The family of Andrew Lloyd Lang are deeply saddened to announce his passing on August 11th 2018, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, while surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Moncton, NB to David and Ann (Powers) Lang on November 12, 1982. Andrew grew up in Amherst, NS and graduated from Amherst Regional High School. After graduating from high school, Andrew lived in Moncton and Fredericton before settling in Saint John, where he became employed for Inmar, working in shipping and receiving. Andrew was a family oriented person, he loved spending time with them and wanted to make sure everyone was happy and secure. He was also known for his love of videogames, reading comic books, as well was watching movies and hockey. He will be dearly missed by his parents David and Ann, brother William and sister Jeanne (Eric), many cousins and his friends and coworkers; Lee Bird, Ty Baptiste, Scott Mitchell, and many others. Andrew was predeceased by his grandparents; William and Rachel Lang, and Lloyd and Jeanne Powers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncology Department and 5A South for the compassion and care given to Andrew. They would also like to thank his co-workers at Inmar for the kindness and generosity they showed Andrew. It touched him profoundly, and provided him a great source of comfort. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John NB, E2M 2L3. (506)634-1701. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 18th at Castle Funeral Home from 2:00PM-4:00PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
