Obituary of Monique Pineau
The family of the late Monique (Ernst) Pineau are saddened to announce her passing on September, 03, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 24th, 1966 in Saint John, NB she is the daughter of Gloria (Dignard) Ernst and the late Paul Ernst. Monique loved sitting around a bonfire and camping. She enjoyed going out on the boat and taking long drives with her partner, Neil. She had a thoughtful and giving personality and was loved dearly by those who knew her in work and family life. She will be greatly missed. Monique is survived by her partner, Neil MacLeod, mother; Gloria Ernst, in-laws; Karen and Ron Leger, son; Chris Pineau, daughter; Sarah Pineau (Robert Schaffer), step-son; James MacLeod, step-daughter; Danielle MacLeod, brother; Mike, sister; Kathy, grand-children; Thomas, Lucas and Eric, nieces and nephews as well as dog; Addy, cat; Edgar. Along with her father, she is pre-deceased by her husband, Paul Pineau. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. As per Monique’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be held for friends and family. A Celebration of Monique's Life will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at the Denis Morris Community Centre, 330 Greenhead Road, Saint John, NB.
