Obituary of Mildred Katherine Thibodeau
Mildred Katherine “Kathy” Thibodeau, formerly of Grandbay Westfield, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 28th, 2017. Born July 8th, 1930 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Kathy was the daughter of the late George and Florence Armstrong. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Alfred William Thibodeau; daughter, Sandra; brother Kenneth; sister Evelyn; brother in law, Norman; son in laws, Bruce and John; sister in law, Jean. Kathy enjoyed fishing and hunting, singing, playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with her family. Kathy is survived by sons, Kenneth (Linda), Daniel Newman, and James (Nancy); daughters Beverley, Jane (Raymond), and Judith. She will be greatly missed by 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several favorite nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A visitation will be held, Monday, October 2nd, from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the "Fallsview" chapel on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 at 1:00 PM with burial to take place in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
