Obituary of Carolyn Dow

It is with great sadness, the family of Carolyn Dow announces her passing on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital (Fredericton, NB). Carolyn was born on January 31, 1939 in Woodstock, NB to the late Waldo Colin Cummings and Ethel Mae Moir. Carolyn and her husband Carroll “Lewis” Dow spent a loving 58 years of marriage together before his passing in April, 2017. Carolyn loved spending time with her family, especially at their cottage in Ontario. She is survived by her brother Vincent Waldo Cummings (Debbie) of Saint John, NB as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents and husband. Special thanks to Marie and Jim Bolton for all their care and support. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 1:00PM until the Celebration Service at 3:00PM at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment for both Carolyn and Lewis will take place at Lower Meductic Cemetery in NB at a later date.
