Obituary of Alma Louise Taggart

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden death of Alma Louise Taggart on May 6, 2017. Born on September 30th, 1958 in Woodstock, NB Alma was the daughter of the late Hedley and Helen (Lewis) Donovan. Alma is survived by her husband, Gordon, and their four children; Nicholas (Charlene), Gorden Matthew (Sylvie), Valerie (P.J.), and Michael (Laura). She is also survived by her siblings, Debbie Nadeau, Harold Donovan (Lezlie), Lewis Donovan (Charlotte), Sheila Donovan (Ian), many nieces and nephews, and her large extended family. She was a beloved grandmother to Tucker Noah, Vincent, D.J., Adrian, and Kael, all of whom were her pride and joy. Alma lit up every room she walked in and was always the life of the party. Her razor-sharp wit left everyone in stitches. You could most likely find her cooking, gardening, or pawning off the fruits of her labor to others. Arrangements will be made by Castle Funeral Home, in Saint John, NB. As per her wishes, there will be no public service for Alma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society.
