Obituary of Dorothy Rae Rupert

It’s with heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Rae Rupert announce her passing on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on July 9, 1944 in Saint John, NB to the late Harry and Muriel (Dobson) Rupert. Dorothy loved doing puzzles, especially Jigsaws, she also enjoyed playing bingo and watching soap operas. She was a big Elvis fan, she adored listening to his music and watching him on TV. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her son David Rupert, brother James Rupert and his wife Mildred, nephews Christopher Rupert (Rebecca Neal) and Philip Rupert, and special friend Marjorie Gillen. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Gary Rupert. A Special Thank you to the Carleton Kirk Lodge for their excellent care. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. A Private Family Graveside service will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy’s memory can be made to the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home or the charity of the donor’s choice.
