Obituary of Angela Alison Luckett
It is with great sadness that the family of Angela Alison (Walbank) Luckett announce her passing at Bobby’s Hospice on Sunday, August 9, 2020 surrounded by her family. Alison was born on May 28, 1949 in Derby, England to the late Angus and May (Cartwright) Walbank. Alison was a true academic. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, attending church, walking her dog Lily, volunteering at numerous charities and had a true love for the library. Alison is survived by her children; Elizabeth Proulx (Kevin), Frances Bartoch (Rich) and Martin Luckett, sister Mary McAfee, grandchildren; Heidi, Mireya and Hayden Bartoch, Cooper Luckett, niece Helen and nephew Andrew. She is predeceased by her parents and husband Jim Scallan. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Fundamental Baptist Church. A reception will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in Alison’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com.
