Obituary of Doreen Gertrude Gould

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Gertrude Gould, at home on March 25th 2018. She was born on July 22nd 1930, to the late Alva and Gertrude (Hamm) French in Saint John, NB. Doreen’s family was her whole world. She loved her church family, playing bingo, baking, knitting and crochet. Doreen was a member of Saint George’s Anglican Church, Apprentice Ladies, Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 69#, and previous member of Legion Branch #2. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Darlene Tait (Gerald) of Saint John, NB, son Brian Gould (Loretta) of Saint John NB, grandchildren; Steven (Patricia), Michael (Molly), Michelle (Chris), and Kimberly (Leo), great-grandchildren; Liam, Charlotte, Lucas and Claire, several nieces and nephews. Doreen is predeceased by her parents, husband Bennett Gould, and son Tommy Gould. A special thank you to all caregivers, especially Mandy. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29th 2018 at 11:00AM in Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
