My condolences to Mr. Carson's family. He was my grade 5 teacher back at Island View School in the early 80's. I always remember him wearing a suit. Such a good teacher.

It was with sadness that Jim and I learned that Roy recently passed away. We had the pleasure of knowing him in recent years as a fellow parishoner at St. Paul's Church, Rothesay. Our most heartfelt sympathy goes out to all his extended family.

My sincere sympathy on the passing of Roy. I met Roy through the the Order of the Eastern Star . I was impressed with his knowledge and calm demeanour. And was so pleased when he agreed to assist with the Vesper Service when I was WGM at Grand Chapter. My thoughts are with you at this time.

As a fellow layreader at St.Paul's, Rothesay, I have known Roy for many years at "church" gatherings and in the Bible Society. I am sorry to be in Calgary at the moment and will be unable to attend the funeral. I extend my sincere sympathy to his family and friends. Roy was a gentleman, a scholar and a devout Christian.
