To Peter's friends & family - I only learned of Peter's passing yesterday. Through Peter's love of baseball he coached our Business Ladies Softball Team. I can't remember him missing a game. His score book and stats were the best. Thank you Peter for all the time you gave our team. RIP Peter.

Enjoyed playing ball hockey with Pete and probably enjoyed even more a conversation with him afterward. A great guy, always positive, witty, intelligent - will miss him at the reunions.

Hey Pete; The "LAW" got real wet in that driveway of yours. Soaked to the bone wet. I know that brings you great peace, and was likely your twisted plan all along, but... There might be payback. It's not my place to fuel your already rampant, out-of-control paranoia regarding all things legal, but it's possible you were in flagrant violation of numerous and sundry obscure by-laws regarding vehicle access. The consequences could be wide-ranging, and severe. Your internet only works at night? You don't see the connection here? You think they will stop at that? No chance, my man, no chance. You're a known subversive. I hear Perry Mason has been working around your parts for some time now. He's old school. You can probably reach him by rotary dial. You should give him a call. My advice, as always, is: You're a pro. Do what the pros do. Take care of business, whatever it takes. And, of course, keep your head up. Regards; K.B.

A few last observations on my friend Peter. He Liked : Blonds,(he thought the chick from the "Mod Squad" and the secretary from "Hogan's Heros" were IT). Black music , ( though he actually told me once that he thought the Dave Clark 5 were as good as the Beatles). Whiskey,(straight,no ice,no chaser). Baseball,(all relevant stats, such as replacement player values and the plexiglass principle must be applied). Crazy conspiracy theories, (usually involving the "Man"). Movies,(1 per week only, the weirder the better). Dogs,(nice ones, like Lassie,no yappers need apply). Spicy food,(I warned him). The Internet,(It took a long time to convince him to get on board, and his only worked at night). Long pants,(he thought shorts were for girls). Hey Pete! The "Man" got soaked to the bone dealing with you and that driveway in the end. Was that your twisted plan all along? I thought so. I know that image brings you great peace. P.S. You didn't do E-mail,so I guess you wouldn't have been able to send a "memory" to yourself! Their reach is even greater than we thought. So, always and forever, keep your head up.

Over decades of fastball and slopitch to pick up ball hockey , St. Peter reunion games and umpiring, Peter rarely missed a game. Peter was the rock always providing the team lineups, statistics and plenty of good natured banter. He was well liked and will be dearly missed. They say you can only play ball in peace, R.I.P. Peter. Good to see that Bruce, Mary and Bill rec'd word.

Mr. Wall, who am I going to be beeping and waving to now when I return home? Who am I going to grab a random hug from? You were a good man, always had a laugh to share, a story to tell, and a beer to be had somewhere. Two weeks ago, I went to Chapters and found myself in "your" section. I reflected back to the days when we would go to the Fredericton one. I stood there and wondered how you were. It was a wonderful moment reflecting. Then the call came in you left.... Im grateful for you, you were a wonderful friend, and thank you for being Kyle's godfather, that meant a lot to us both... Forever in my heart Peter Wall... You might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd We ain't too pretty we ain't too proud We might be laughing a bit too loud Aw but that never hurt no one Only the good die young Only the good die young

So many memories of Peter.... Shocked to hear of his passing. Pete was such a good friend to my brother Bill who shares the passions for music and baseball. We are in Ontario, otherwise we would be attending the service. RIP Pete.
