Obituary of Heather Jenina Murray
It is with great sadness, that the family of Heather Jenina Murray (nee Bell) announces her passing at Parkland Shannex on Friday, July 10th 2020, surrounded by loved ones. Heather was born on July 30, 1934 in Midland, NB, to the late David and Elizabeth Bell. Heather worked for many years at the Bank of Nova Scotia, was a dedicated parishioner of St. George’s Anglican Church, and was a proud resident of west Saint John. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her family meant everything to her. Heather is survived by her son, John Murray (Anne) of Ottawa, ON; daughter, Alison Rabishaw (William), and son-in-law, Chris Magee, of Saint John, NB; brothers: David Bell (Gretchen) of Charlottetown, PEI, and Donald Bell (Réal) of Westmount, QC; sister-in-law, Ann Flewelling (Mike) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren: Carys, Jeremy, Kathryn, Alex and Matthew; great grandchildren: Kaylyn, Lotus and Benson; and several nieces and nephews. Heather is predeceased by her parents; husband, Doug Murray; daughter, Ann Magee; and brother, Duncan Bell. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, E2M2L3, 506-634-1701. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
