Obituary of Joseph Eugene Logan
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Eugene Logan, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Joseph was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, November 22, at the Saint John Regional Hospital while surrounded by family. He was born on April 8th, 1930 to the late Francis and Pearl (Lord) Logan. Joseph started his career working for Maritime Rug Works and eventually moved to Work Safe NB working his way up into Management. In his retirement he loved spending time fishing, drawing, wood working and spending time with his loved ones. In the warmer months Joseph enjoyed spending his time at the family trailer in St. Martins. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Lillian (Furness) Logan of 59 years, children; Kevin (Helen Marie), Cheryl (Harold), Lana, Krista (Paul) and Tanya (John), brother Francis (Betty), sister in-law Patricia Logan, 12 grandchildren; Kara, Kirk, Kaylin, Jason, Jena, Jessalyn, Matthew, Zachary, Rebecca, Tanner, Bailey and Marissa, 3 great grandchildren; Lucas, Jovi and Lily, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sisters; Anna Titus, June McGraw, “baby” Joyce, brother Paul Logan, and grandson Tyler Humphrey. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 25th 2018 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption on Monday, November 26th , 2018 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A Reception will then be held at Castle “Fallsview” Reception Centre.
