Obituary of Gail Marjorie Wilson
It is with great sadness, the family of Gail Marjorie Wilson would like to announce her passing on August 2, 2017. Gail was born on December 30, 1944 in Saint John, NB to the late Hazen and Ruth Byers. Gail worked at Keirstead's Flower Shop for over twenty-five years. She was also a long time member of the Legion Branch #2 and later Branch #69 and the LOA (Lorneville Outing Association). Gail loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son Max Wilson (Valerie) of Saint John, NB, daughter; Wanda Wilson of Halifax, NS, sister; Evelyn Byers of Saint John, NB, three grandchildren; Rebecca Ross of Stoney Creek, ON, Meghan Wilson of Winnipeg, MB, and Nicole Burd of Halifax, NS, two great grandchildren; Charli Raniowski, and Fynn Boudreau of Stoney Creek, ON as well as several nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her parents; Hazen Byers and Ruth (Humphrey) Byers, brothers and sister; John Byers, Teddy Byers, Elsie Carter, Frank Byers, and baby Hazen Charles Byers. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Funeral Service will take place at Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
