Obituary of Frances Mildred Butler

Surrounded by her family, Frances Mildred Butler passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October, 27, 2018. Born January 25th, 1932 in Newmarket, Ontario to the late Alfred George and Annie Delora (Winger) McComb. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ronald Garfield Butler. Frances was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother who was always smiling and caring for others. She loved old movies, playing piano, sewing, cooking, and baking for her family. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She will be deeply missed by her family including son; Jack (Anne) Butler, daughter; Tina Sewell (Bill Hall) both of Saint John, NB, grandchildren; Lauren, Mckenzie and Kaitryn, great grandchild; Zoe, as well as several nieces and nephews. Frances has closed the chapter on the George and Annie McComb children, as she was the youngest and last, of their surviving seven children. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3. 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30th from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM at Castle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 31th 2018 at 12 Noon from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the Castle “Fallsview” Reception Centre.
