Obituary of Roy St. Clair Hampton

It is with great sadness that the family of Roy St.Clair Hampton, wish to announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday October 20, 2017. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Roy and Reta (Allan) Hampton. Roy served with the Royal Canadian Navy for 10 years before spending the rest of his working career as a Special Education teacher in various schools in Saint John and then in Toronto until his retirement. Roy is survived by one brother Fred Hampton, of B.C., one sister, Elsie Trecartin, of Saint John, and several nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Lois and Helen, and his partner Joseph Doucette. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B.(634 1701). Visiting will take place on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm.
