Obituary of Gerald Bruce Nordstrom

It is with deepest sadness the family of Gerald Bruce Nordstrom announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 27th, 2020. Born in Saint John on February 20th, 1966, he was the son of Gerald and Marilyn (Shephard) Nordstrom. Bruce grew up in Saint John and had a long-time career at Moosehead Breweries. He was a proud graduate from Vocational School. He was always one for helping people in ways he could. Bruce found great enjoyment from his furry friends and had a heart of gold. He had many adventures during his time and lived life to the fullest. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, sisters, Shelley, Diane (Tim), Lisa (Rod), Brother Derek (Tammy), as well as several nieces & nephews. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Doctors, Nurses and all the Staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, (506) 634-1701. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel, with reception to follow. Private interment will take place at a later date in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or of donor’s choice.
