Obituary of Dawn Frances Savoie
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dawn Frances (McSorley) Savoie announces her passing on Monday, March 16th, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice while surrounded by family. Dawn was born on December 19, 1936 to the late Norman A. and Annie J. (McNulty) McSorley in Saint John, NB.
Dawn will be dearly missed by her children; Paul Therence Savoie (Lori) of Brantford, Ontario, and Annette Louise Savoie (Laszlo) of Norwich, Ontario, special friend Milo Murray and loving family,sisters; Carole (Jim) May, Linda Thomas and Brenda Morais NB, grandchildren; Bryan and Julia, great grandchildren Rylan and Ayla, and several nieces and nephews.
Dawn is predeceased by her parents Norman and Annie, husband Therence Albert Savoie, sisters; Norma Landry, Arlene Doucet and Catherine Doucet, and brother Terrence McSorley.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. A BBQ will be held at Bobby's Hospice for Dawn's family and friends on Friday, June 24th from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. A Memorial Mass will follow at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Dawn’s memory can be made to the Assumption Building Fund or Bobby’s Hospice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
